BlackBerry Messenger also known as BBM is widely regarded as one of the earliest communication apps that started free instant messaging revolution. Over the years many other communication applications took BBM’s concept and offered people similar services albeit a few changes in appearance. Initially BBM was only available to BlackBerry smartphone users but rising popularity of the application compelled the BBM makers to launch it for Android and iOS platforms as well. At the moment only android, iOS and BlackBerry smartphone users can use this app. However, if you want to access the BBM on computers so that you can connect with the loved ones while working on some project or doing anything for that matter on desktops and laptops and don’t have your smartphone nearby then we have BlackBerry Messenger for PC for you using which you can now have BBM on Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7 & Mac OS X. Unfortunately there is no official BBM app for PC, but you can still use android version of BBM through latest BlueStacks 2 android emulator, know more about BlueStacks 2 here. For now BlueStacks 2 is available for only Windows users, those of you using Mac can continue to use android apps on previous BlueStacks version until new updated version becomes available.

How to install BlackBerry Messenger for PC – Windows & Mac:
1 – First and foremost, download latest version of best android emulator BlueStacks 2 here and follow on-screen instructions to install it. If you want to know more about BlueStacks installation process click here. Existing BlueStacks 2 users can skip this step.
2 – New users would need to register with BlueStacks 2 using Google Play ID.
3 – Now on BlueStacks 2 home screen click search box located on the top row and type BlackBerry Messenger in it.
4 – Click on the game icon from the search result to open game information and installation window.
5 – Next click install as shown in the image below.
6 – If for some reason you can’t find the game within BlueStacks 2 then download BlackBerry Messenger Apk here. Click on the downloaded apk file to directly install the game on BlueStacks 2. Or you can click apk button on new toolbar located on the left side of BlueStacks 2 screen and go to the location where downloaded apk file is saved on your PC to install the application.
7 – Return to BlueStacks 2 home screen and click All Apps (plus sign icon on top row) which contains the list of all installed apps on BlueStacks 2 android app player. Find the game and double-click its icon to open it. You can now use apps in full screen in BlueStacks 2 by clicking on the window maximize button on the top right corner of the screen.
8 – All done. BBM Messenger app is all set for you to use on PC and laptops. Have Fun!
