Remix OS is an operating system that allows you to use Android Lollipop 5.1.1 on Windows PC and laptops. Developer version of Remix OS 2.0 has been released and it is being rumored that soon users will be able to carry out daily tasks using latest Android Marshmallow mobile OS on PCs via Remix OS which runs as a separate OS along side native PC Windows OS thanks to the Windows dual booting ability. With this Android based operating system there is no need to have separate Android emulators installed on computers. One advantage that Remix OS 2.0 for PC has over traditional Android app players on the market is that it plays all Android apps without distorting graphics as they are fully optimized for larger computer displays of computers running on Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 & Windows 7. Although BlueStacks both original and rooted versions as well as other emulators play latest Android apps in palatable graphics quality but still you are kind of restricted because all tasks have to be performed inside emulator’s window, which is not the case with Remix OS 2.0.
With Remix OS you can turn desktops and laptops into an Android device and access all content from Google Play on PCs. Rooted Android phones have their own charm, it affords you complete control over every aspect of your phones; you can tweak and change working of Android phone and apps with Rooted devices. Similarly, you can root Remix OS 2.0 as well, so that you can use Android apps on computers just like the way you like without any developers or PC restrictions.
